Snowshoe + Fondue Highlights

I went on the snowshoe fondue tour, and now I'm sharing my highlights. My name is Katie Wolfe and I am 17 years old, currently, I'm in grade 12 and this was my overall experience of the tour through my eyes.

What a cool experience! The Snowshoe + Fondue Tour was packed with lots of highlights, from the chocolate to the views. During the tour, we went off the “classic” path to cool lookouts. The side trails led to breathtaking views, and untouched snow. Our guide provided us with facts about the history of all the different mountains and facts about bears in hibernation. The snowshoeing was beautiful and it was very inclusive for everybody's different levels throughout the group.

After snowshoeing, we experienced a whole new take on fondue. Enjoying the fondue at the top with that view makes me question if any other fondue will ever be better? The chocolate fondue was a cool way to finish the tour. It gave us time to be together, and warm up. It also extended the tour and made the experience last longer.

My top highlight was snowshoeing. I had never been snowshoeing at Sea to Sky Gondola before, and I found it to be really amazing to see views which are only accessible by snowshoes in the winter. Overall I found the whole tour took the best elements of winter and wrapped them all together in one package.

The whole experience from snowshoeing to the hot fondue was definitely a must! It made you feel like you were in another world. Everything about the tour was special and very personalized.
